The School of DanceWest Ballet is located at 1665 W. Quincy Ave. Naperville, Il.
The School of DanceWest Ballet's spacious facility occupies 10,000 square feet on the west side of Naperville. It is conveniently located just off of Ogden Ave (Route 34). Located in an industrial park, there is plenty of parking and little traffic volume that make it an ideal setting for dropping off and picking up children.
The state of the art building houses four studios, two dressing rooms, two lobbies, School and Company offices, faculty lounge, three multiple stall restrooms, and costume rooms. The expansive dance studios are equipped with the most advanced technology in sound systems. Two of the studios hold pianos; one, a Baby Grand Piano for live accompaniment during ballet classes. All of the studios are built for the best sound quality and have hand built, specially designed, patented wood sprung floors. These floors are designed with the dancer in mind, and will prevent injuries that would normally occur when performing high impact movements on regular hard flooring. The best, most recently developed non-slip Marley flooring covers all of the more than generous sized dance floors.
All studios have barres; ample to hold all students comfortably while working in class at the barre, as well as floor to ceiling mirrors, and multiple ceiling fans for good air circulation. For the hottest summer months, studios and entire facility is air conditioned.
The two lobbies are pleasingly large in size and comfortably decorated with ample seating and open space. You are welcome to sit and wait while your student takes class. If you should wish to observe your student in class, all of the studios have observation windows.
Studio I is mainly used for the Modern, Jazz, and Hip-Hop classes.
Studio II is mainly used for Ballet classes and DWB Company rehearsals.
Studio III is mainly used for Tap classes and Pilates.
Studio IV is a brand new studio just built in the summer of 2004 and is mainly used for the advanced Ballet, Pointe, Variation, Pas de Deux classes and DWB Company rehearsals.
