DanceWest Ballet 2020 Giving Campaign

2020 has been a difficult year for so many individuals, families, businesses, and organizations, including ours. Dance has been one of the hardest hit industries in the world because of the closures of studios and theaters. DanceWest Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker at Pfeiffer Hall has been a beloved tradition for 27 years in Naperville, presenting the city’s only full-length professional Nutcracker with world-renowned professional guest artists and local children of all ages. Despite all of this year’s challenges, our 2020 Nutcracker Vignettes were recorded just before the most recent shutdown of dance classes in Illinois and will be presented on YouTube in December. We are looking forward to being back onstage next year, performing for you live!

Please consider a charitable gift to DanceWest Ballet and help us continue to support our young artists in these unprecedented times. Every gift received will support the resources necessary for DanceWest Ballet to creatively navigate the next year and enrich our local community with the beauty and educational benefits of ballet. Becoming a patron of the arts has never been more important than it is right now, so let’s continue this Naperville holiday tradition together. All donors who make a contribution between now and December 31, 2020 will be entered into a drawing to receive four free tickets to our 2021 Nutcracker production. Don’t miss this special opportunity to be a part of our organization’s future!

Welcome Back from Regina and Ricardo

The School of DanceWest Ballet

August 1, 2020

Dear DanceWest Ballet Parents,

At both The School of DanceWest Ballet and our student company DanceWest Ballet Company, our highest priority is the health and well-being of all students, parents, staff, teachers and volunteers.

We’re continuing to monitor recent developments surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19) and are focused on recommendations from the CDC, local health officials and government agencies. Currently, all classes and rehearsals will continue as scheduled. We understand how important dance classes are to many of our students. Young people need to exercise, use energy, have fun and be uplifted during these difficult times.

At the same time, we recognize the importance of vigilance during this time to keep everyone safe.

By allowing your child to attend classes, you represent that you and your child are 100% healthy, and fever and symptom-free. You also represent that all those that you and you child have come in contact with the last 14 days have been fever and symptom-free as well.

Please see attached documents to view precautions and safety measures implemented for the safe return of our DanceWest students.

Welcome back to The School of DanceWest Ballet for the 2020~2021 Season!

All The Best,

Sincerely,

Regina and Ricardo Moyanoe
